Rubery is a village in the north of Bromsgrove district, and connected to the southern suburbs of Birmingham. Located just 9 miles from Birmingham City Center, and just 4 miles from Bromsgrove Town Center, it is well situated for local amenities and also has a wide selection of shops, bars, pubs, and restaurants along it’s high street. Adjacent to Rubery village is Great Park, which contains a range of venues such as a cinema, bowling alley, bingo hall and several restaurants. Just down the road is the new Longbridge development, which contains a college, several pubs & restaurants, and is still undergoing further growth.
The majority of Rubery is formed of residential areas, the majority of them being within walking distance of the high street and other local shops. The Lickey Hills provides a green backdrop to Rubery and provides a space for outdoor activities and tranquillity.
