Nestling in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside, Redditch enjoys the benefits of new town planning with a history that dates back to the Domesday Book. Made famous by its needle manufacturing during the 19th Century and later in the 20th Century by Royal Enfield Motors, today Redditch is no less a thriving town.

Our Redditch branch provides a full range of property services to the whole town. Our in-house independent Redditch mortgage advisor, Chris Needham, is on hand to help with any financial services, whilst the rest of our estate agents in Redditch work to provide the best sales and lettings services.

Amongst its many recreational facilities, Redditch boasts two large parks, a shopping centre, cinema and the Abbey Stadium sports centre. On the other side of town between Webheath, Callow Hill, Hunt End and Walkwood are Morton Stanley Park which provides further recreational opportunities for all ages. The largest park is the fantastic Arrow Valley Countryside Park bordered by Winyates, Woodrow, Church Hill and Lodge Park. Boating, fishing, walking or simply sitting and watching the wildlife are some of the activities enjoyed by residents. The play park is a key attraction for families. Towards the south side of the park there is a popular skate park, and walking paths along the river Arrow through the park and to the Forge Mill Museum in the north.

Just walking distance from Abbeydale, Mount Pleasant and St Georges-in the heart of town is Redditch’s Kingfisher Centre which hosts an array of shops for all. Being a market town Redditch’s popular market hosts a variety of stalls.  For drivers, parking is ample even at the busiest times of the year.

In addition to the Kingfisher Centre, there are numerous retail parks and supermarkets scattered across the town. Sainsburys and Argos located between Riverside and Enfield. Morrisons based in Ipsley/Winyates and Tesco 24hr Extra in Oakenshaw. There are also two large DIY stores such as B&Q in Smallwood and Wickes in Mount Pleasant as well as the smaller independent building suppliers.

Redditch is also home to The Alexandra Hospital based in Woodrow. The hospital provides a 24 hr A&E as well as outpatient departments and maternity ward.
