Welcome to Stourbridge - Norton

Norton is a small suburb of Stourbridge primarily just for residential purposes. A relatively new area of Stourbridge compared to many of the historic areas and suburbs, with their history dating back hundreds of years. Norton only really became the area it is today because of the post-war developments throughout the 50’s and 60’s, when it became part of the Borough of Stourbridge.

For many people Norton has two primary attractions and centrepieces: Mary Stevens Park, and Stourbridge Golf Club. Mary Stevens Park has seen a lot of investment in recent years, with plenty of focus on creating a ‘healthy hub’ in the area. Because of this, the park now features a large lake, children’s playground, sports facilities, and even an outdoor gym.
