Hagley Area

Hagley is a large village – larger in fact than many market towns. It is located in Worcestershire, just south of Stourbridge. Hagley is a historic village with a connection to Stourbridge dating back hundreds of years – some say as far as the bronze age. In modern times, Hagley is primarily a commuter village. Whilst there is little in the way of local employment opportunities, the unemployment rate in Hagley is low: only 2.6 per cent. Hagley functions as a dormitory village, with many residents taking advantage of the great connections via road and rail to commute to nearby Birmingham, Stourbridge, Worcester, and Kidderminster.
